The steps, in order
Get your details and our WhatsApp ready
Open the message we sent when your plan started; it carries the login you will need if the Smarters channel is available in your region. Keep the WhatsApp chat open, because Roku is the platform where a quick screenshot most often saves the evening: whether a channel is missing or mirroring will not link up, we can usually tell you at a glance which of the two routes is going to work for you.
Search the Roku Channel Store
Hit Home, head to Streaming Channels or the search box, and hunt for IPTV Smarters Player or IPTV Player. If it shows, add it and move on. What is on offer changes without warning and differs by country, so if nothing appears, that is Roku rather than your account, and you drop to the mirroring route below.
If it is there, sign in with Xtream Codes
Launch the channel, select the Xtream Codes option, and put in your username, password and server address as usual. Once it loads, flag a few favorites so the nightly list is short. If the login is refused, check the server line carries its http:// and port, and send us the screen if it still will not take.
If not, mirror from a phone or PC
Switch on Screen mirroring under Roku Settings, then System. From Android use Cast or Smart View; from a Windows PC press the Windows key together with K. Start the stream on that device and it lands on the Roku. It is reliable, but it occupies the phone or laptop the whole time you watch, so it suits the odd session more than a nightly habit.
The honest best option: add a small stick

If it is working, tidy the list and test a match
Where the Smarters channel is available and signed in, spend a minute confirming a busy channel plays cleanly, then mark a few favorites so your nightly list is short. Roku hardware is modest, so if the picture strains on a big event, that is the platform showing its limits, and it is the clearest sign that a small stick would serve that television better.
Weigh up the honest long-term option
If you find yourself fighting the store or leaning on mirroring most nights, that is Roku, not your account. Send us a screenshot if you are stuck
Because Roku is the fussy one, this step matters more here than anywhere. If the store shows no player, mirroring will not connect, or a stream drops, photograph the screen and message us. We will tell you which route fits your exact model and region, and if the fair answer is a cheap stick, we will say so plainly rather than string you along.

When something is not right
IPTV channels vanish from the Roku store
Roku removes these listings from time to time, which is why we will not promise a particular one is there when you look. If yours disappears your account is untouched: switch to mirroring, or move that television to a stick. Message us and we will confirm what is currently available in your country.
Mirroring stutters or drops
Mirroring relies on your Wi-Fi and on the phone not sleeping. Move the source device closer to the router, plug it in so it does not throttle to save battery, and close other apps on it. If it still struggles, the network is the limit and a stick on the TV avoids mirroring altogether, which we are happy to talk through.
A channel is missing after you add the app
If the player installed but a specific channel is not listed, that is usually a regional catalog on the app rather than your subscription. Tell us which channel you are looking for and we will confirm it is on your plan and, if so, how to reach it on Roku specifically.
The Smarters channel loads but a stream will not play
On Roku the player has fewer decoder options than on other platforms, so an odd channel can refuse. Try its HD or SD counterpart first. If many channels will not start, that points to the Roku build rather than your account, and mirroring or a cheap stick is the reliable way around it; send us the screen and we will confirm.

Can you actually get IPTV on Roku?
Only partly, and we would rather be honest than talk it up. Nothing can be sideloaded, and the players that do turn up in the store appear and vanish, which leaves Roku the least dependable platform for this. Mirroring is always there to fall back on. If the choice is yours, a Firestick or Android box on that television is a much smoother experience, and we will happily set one up with you.
Is mirroring good enough for live sport?
For the odd match it is fine, but it ties up your phone and leans on your Wi-Fi, so a fast-moving game can stutter if the signal is weak. For regular viewing, and sport especially, a small stick on the TV is the setup we recommend. Ask us and we will suggest the cheapest one that does the job well.
Which Roku models handle this best?
The newer Roku Ultra and current Roku TVs cope better than the older sticks, simply because they have more power for the store player and for mirroring. Even so, none of them sideload, so the experience is capped compared with a Firestick. Tell us your model and we will say honestly whether it is worth persevering or adding a stick.
